mercury glass floral, millinery/corsage picks made in Japan during the 1950s.
I have multiple sets of gold mercury glass baubles wrapped in foil floral tape and wired to picks They are in new old stock condition and are mostly still wrapped in their tissue paper covers. I have unwrapped a couple of these so that you can see what they look like.
