This angels do not attract a magnet. There are no makers marks I can see. They have gold string attached to them, but they are not tied to hang on a tree, but are left open so you can do whatever you wish with them. The tallest is 2 1/4" the shortest is 1 3/4" there is a scratch on one of the hangera and it is not dark underneath.
